The ASIST Training team of Newfoundland Labrador is composed of group of volunteers and professionals that have supplied the ASIST program to various communities and organizations in Newfoundland Labrador. LivingWorks Education developed the ASIST program in the early 1980’s, their programs were developed in response to a community concern about suicide.

Each year, the Training Team embarks on a conference planning journey.  The committee puts forth every effort to ensure the annual conference is a success through thorough discussion about workshops and activities being offered to trainers, building in necessary self-care and ensures the conference is rooted in the Core beliefs of Living Works

The ASIST NL conference is an experience like no other. Everyone is welcome to join the team and you can be assured that you will leave the rock with new friends, feeling rejuvenated and having had an experience of a lifetime.
